Wasps!!

The last couple weeks we have had wasps at the stables, they are a pain.
No one stung, not many of them just enough to send liveries and visitors running about like headless chickens.
Anyone know what we can hang up or plant to ward off these pests.
 
I would leave them to get on with it and not worry too much, they will be gone over the next couple of weeks - certainly gone by October. They will not sting anyone or the horses unless attacked or threatened so just carry on about your business and so will they!
 
You can buy wasp traps to hang baited with a syrup. Or good old fashioned fly paper.

Many will die off during the winter - but some won't. Especially if it is a mild one. You could just leave them now; but keep an eye out next year as they may be back with a vengence!
