Wat dos everyone think?

No idea. Looks like the horse has problems and needs a more sympathetic rider. Although it was going forwards at the end, still doesn't look 'happy'
I think it's one of those - 'look at me taming a crazy horse' videos. Hate the way the rider is kicking and tugging at it.

Yeah it really upsets me sometimes when i see things like that as you can see the horse dosn't like something that is/has been done to it.

Haven't read the comments, but I'd get the back, saddle and teeth checked before I continued with the horse. I'd also buy a hat

I myself break and train horses for a living and have viewed the said video and think the work put in by that rider/trainer to make the horse more pliable and ridable was admirable indeed. It takes balls to train a difficult horse, not every horse can be broken easily and it is obvious to say that the horse will have a better future if broken. I could easily tell that the said rider was highly trained, and in an instant was straight back on the horses back when it reared vertically and twisted. Untill you back and ride away difficult horses it is hard to see just what guts it takes to do this day in day out. Not all horses have poorly fitted tack, bad back or teeth, just like human children they can have tantrums too.

Watching this I am inclined to agree with you. The rider has good balance and a strong seat. He is riding very forcefully but this can perhaps come across as aggressive in the video. The horse to me looks to be having a classic strop!

personally, I think he did a good job, in the comments under the video he says that it was a montage of different days to show the progress of the horse over time. and it definitely does look like the horse is just having a tantrum!

He was making it misbehave as far as I can tell- using his legs so far back into a strong, low hand- thats asking for the horse to react the way it does.

When he raises the hand and allows it forward, it goes forward.
