I've always fancied a real liver chestnut with no white at all. Have to say at the moment though i am in love with my new boy, coloured in pic. He's exactly size/stamp/shape i was looking for.....they grey bit wasn't but you can't have it all can you
A buckskin with white face and four white stockings (see below), a chestnut with the above markings and blanket spots. A blue and white or lemon and white or any shade or dun or roan. They would have to be one of the heavier native breeds or a m/w h/w cob type.
I think my grey tb mare is gorgeous but I saw a horse that was the eptimone of my dream horse the other day. He was tall, about 16.3hh, light grey with a pink nose. TB x WB type, he was just the most elegant horse with long legs and a beautiful regal head. I thought wow imagine having that looking over your stable door every morning!
I also like the idea of having a dark liver chestnut with no white markings, again TB type.
as a child i always wanted a palomino, you know one of those Akel (sp) really really shiny coat!! Looks metalic!! now my perfect horse is a tall dark bay with very long legs, good depth in body with an average back length i really like opposition buzz hes lovely can i have him??? please !!
No, seriously, the bay arab (she did have 4 legs) was pretty much my ideal horse. Long gone now, Bless her. So was my grey in my signature. Still looking for my next candidate.
Pinktiger, palominos often do have that metallic sheen, mine certainly does.
i do also love liver chestnut with flaxen mane and tail, it would have to be a nice and chunky/heavy built horse with lots of feather and hair in general of about 14.2hh
Mine would be just like PF only a hand taller and wider. It would be PERFECT if the foal turned out like that!
If not, PF is just fine, thanks very much
