Does anyone have a water based fly spray recipe that doesn’t contain dish soap, dettol or any other chemical? Hoping to make my own this year.

I used to make one by brewing up a load of tea, then once it has cooled down, mixing it with citronella and vinegar. It worked about as well as most store bought fly sprays.

Amazingly, white vinegar and water in spray bottle has worked wonders for me, no damage to the coat, no sensitivity to it, am very pleased.

Citronella oil drops into a spray bottle of water. Patch test first. Make sure you can smell the Citronella as that's what keeps the flies away. Done it this way for 20 years all the yard uses it.
