Can someone recommend a hard wearing bucket please? I'm on my third in the space of two months  Ive tried the skip type buckets but they end up with holes on the bottom and leaking! Any thoughts?

God know's! Between them leaking... And my horse breaking them I need to find a tough bucket. Going to put it in a rubber tyre so he can't destory it :o

I have had my tub trugs I use for water buckets for nearly 5 years now. In daily use, they have moved yards 3 times... What ever are you (or your horse) doing to kill them? One lives inside a couple of tyres as the mare liked to knock it over every day, but stopped as soon as I started doing it this way. bottom tyre is smaller than the top tyre (off a land rover) to make it more secure.

I use the Stubbs buckets - BIG ones with Rope handles. Yes they are expensive BUT! I bought my first one about 15 years ago. It has been used in the fields though ridiculously cold winters and hot summers. It has had babby friesians trying to climb in it, getting stuck etc. This poor bucket has been used as said hooligans play thing, flung, kicked etc. It is / has been regularly dragged across the yard to be tipped... The worst wear I can note on it is it is a little faded. Well worth the £20 I think....
