Water proof check chain

Does anyone have one / know where i can get one? Chimo has a leather / Brass one. She goes in the sea alot and while it does not rust, she has a nice green stain round her neck (also any ideas how to get this off, dog shampoo does not seem to work!)

Green is not really her colour so any suggestions?

Do you actually mean a check chain? They are readily available in chain links from most pet shops - that should be waterproof!

But I wouldn't let any dog run free in a collar that can tighten if it gets caught up on something - far too dangerous. I'd get a buckle on identity collar for swimming and off-lead exercise.

Do you mean a half-check? - you can get these in nylon or leather, with stainless steel chains

Ah yes, it is a half check, sorry. the ones we had before rusted really quickly and this is the only one that has not, but turns her fur green!
