Waterbuckets freezing over

We've been wrapping exercise sheets around the buckets and securing them with bedding banked around the bottem of the bucket and this seems to work :)
 
I fill up water containers when water is running, and bury them in the muck heap. They keep really well, and dare I say it are actually warm when I pour them out :eek:

Luckily we still have a field drain running to get water from, taps haven't worked for weeks. Still, gets me more exercise lugging everything around. ;)
