Waterford bits, silly question!

I've just put my boy back into his waterford for various reasons (as opposed to his normal french link- both bits are hanging cheek) but it struck me- is it ok to continue using his drop noseband with a waterford?
Also, I notice it sat higher in his mouth than the snaffle, so I dropped it down a hole each side but then it was too low so I currently have it 1 hole lower on one side than the other and it looks like it sits right, but is that ok or will it cause him to be sore/uneven?

One hole difference between side shouldn't make a difference - just make sure bit is sitting level when you take up.

I can't see a problem with using it with a drop noseband.
