waterford snaffle - dressage legal?

I think not but there is a debate going on at the yard as someone wants to ride in one at our yard show in a couple of weeks time and says as its a snaffle it is ok. Can anyone confirm that the waterford is not a permitted bit for dressage (or otherwise - I am happy to stand corrected)?

Nope they are definatly not, I would recommend a french link for dressage if her horse leans.

ditto everyone else - definitely NOT legal... If the event you're at doesn't bit check then SOME judges won't notice - not worth the risk in my opinion but i have known of people getting away with it
