Waterford Snaffle- Sizing

My horse usually takes a 5.5' bit, but have been told with the waterford, I need to get a 6'. Is this correct?

Well some people they should go one size up so if anything you'd need a 5.75 size. I personally have mine his normal size.

They do need to be a size bigger. If you can find a 5.75" then that would be better but I'm not sure if they do them.

thanks. I have looked for a 5.75' but they only seem to sell them in half sizes

yes go up a size, 6" shouldn't be too big

If you go too big a joint will rest on the corners of his mouth and could pinch. We always stay at the same size.

mine is the same as all his other bits, 5.5

I have a waterford gag and snaffle and they are the same size as my other bits.
