Waterlogged Manege - rough costs to fix?

Hi all

Looking at renting a livery yard with a manege, typical size, looks to have been done properly with a sand base

Been used for several years

However, in the recent rain it had waterlogged areas. I've never had one before but understand that even in heavy rain, it should not have this happen

If that is the case, I gather it is either surface material or drainage issues

Has anyone had this and if so, how much was the rough cost to fix and what did you end up doing?

Mine never drained properly so required pretty much a new build to get them right, we didn't save the surface which would have reduced the costs, you really need it looked at by a professional as it may just need some leveling and a top up or could need new drains which will be similar to the costs of building from scratch.
Mine does sometimes get a bit of water standing during heavy rain but this does not make it ride deep and goes within an hour or so of the rain easing so don't assume it is not usable just because of a bit of lying water, although not ideal for most of us it is acceptable.
