Waterproof country boots

I’ve bought Dublin Pinnacle for years and always found them waterproof and hard wearing, but my new pair arrived on Monday and both boots leaked in the rain this morning so they are going back.

Suggestions under £150 that are comfy and waterproof? I don’t use them for stomping in puddles, but I do expect them to cope with rain and short, wet grass.

I bought a second hand pair of Toggi country boots off Ebay about a year ago (30 quid - bargain!) and they have been superb all winter and still going strong now. Definitely waterproof as I have waded through muddy fields in them! I can't remember the specific type; possibly the Canyon boots?

My ariat Windermere’s have lasted 4 years so far of being on DIY, dog walks, hacking and having me as an owner. I don’t think I’ve ever given them any tlc and they have only now just split across the toe so do get a bit soggy if I am in proper puddles. Are fine for being caught in a shower. Will be replacing them with another pair.

I have found that the cheaper boots aren’t very good. I have had Dublin river boots and Toggi canyons and I think HKM boots and the longest they lasted was 6 months. I now buy Ariats as they last for years and although a good bit more expensive to buy initially, they work out cheaper in the long run.

Another vote for ariats they cost more but are so worth it

Possibly worth looking at Hyland Country boots. I haven't had those but have had a pair of their winter riding boots and so far they've survived 3 years of neglect and are still waterproof in long wet grass and general muddy conditions. I bought them when they were the only ones available in our local shop when I wanted some quickly and have been really impressed with them, especially for the price.
