I'm just wondering if the waterproof top line style fly rugs are actually any good?? My horses live out and it can be a pain in the so called summer months when it rains. 0g rainsheets make them too warm but I hate riding wet horses so I thought, as I have to buy some new fly rugs anyway, that this might be a reasonable compromise??
And if anyone can recommend fly masks that actually stay on, that would be great 🙄

Yes, I find them so useful for exactly that situation, although they are still hotter than a normal fly rug so I don't think you could have one instead of the other but they are a lot cooler than a turnout.

Oh, I love them, fab invention, they keep the back dry, flies odd, and dry out really quickly when the sun comes out. You don’t have to worry about them getting too hot, or staying soaking wet under a clammy rug. I wouldn’t bother with 0g rain sheets any more.
