Waterproof Fly rugs

Agree, I'd spend a bit extra. I think cheap rugs are sometimes ok but cheap fly sheets either regular or waterproof seem pretty rubbish. They also seem to slide down the horses neck and sit like a scarf tightly bunched around them quite often.

I've currently got a Rambo Summer series and a PE. They are both pretty ££ but worth it i think.
I did have a Shires, also good. Pony currently had a Weatherbeeta which seems lovely but needs adjusting to fit him so i cant really comment on what its actually like, other than better suited to larger tummies!!

I can't understand why they make the upper section a dark colour. Surely it heats up the horse if the sun shines.

My Shires Tempest waterproof fly rug is brilliant, heading into its 3rd summer now and although I have stitches up a few whoopsies my inconsiderate horses has put into it, it’s still going strong and is waterproof!
I think it cost me £50’ish

I bought a horseware waterproof liner and its been brilliant, although didnt pay this much for it!
