I am allergic to the pollution in the rain (really, come out in hives) so need to stay as dry as possible in the delights of an English winter. I am currently buying a pair of waterproof trousers (good ones) every 10 months or so. The inside seam goes, predictably, due to all the riding. Anyone got any recommendations for anything that might last longer? Needs to be completely waterproof, no leaks!

Thanks!

Is it worth looking at fishing/trawler gear?
Don't know how much /what kind of riding you do so may not be suitable.

Or could even get these for general wear /yard work and then equine specific for riding in.

Might last longer this way?

Dickies farm work rubberised pants are quiet to ride in, last a while but are cheap enough to replace when they wear out.
