I was wondering if anyone uses a waterproof spray or something else to make they boots stay resistant to water? If you do - does it work? Where do you get it from?

I own a pair of Windermere Boots and I don't want wet feet this winter :o

Thank you.

I clean mine with a damp cloth, apply ariat polish to the leather parts, buff, then apply Nikwax waterproofing stuff (in a bottle with a scratchy sponge applicator) for leather, then spray nikwax suede and nubuck proofing spray on the suede. My grasmeres are 4 years old and still look new from this routine!

Only wear Ariat boots, on pair of Grassmeres are over 10 yrs old and still going strong, Ariat do their own water proof spray, as the boots that I own have got older I have used this on them haven't had a pair leak yet

I will one day treat myself to some expensive boots but I had some Toggi which were a lot for my pocket, ended up wet feet. But good old reliable Dunlops are the answer.

I use Kiwi waterproof spray on mine. That works. You have to keep doing it every 6 months or so. I have a pair of 10 year old berghaus suede hiking boots and I use the same stuff on them. It's not expensive, about £4 a can.
