I have a pair of tuffa suffolk boots that I want to reproof but I dont know what to use!! A friend of mine suggested dubbin but then somene else said not to use that because it can rot the stitching?? Any reccommendations would be useful. Thank you :D

I use KO-Cho-Line. Old fashioned stuff that is like bright red goo which comes in a small tin that looks like the ones you get treacle in. It won't rot stitching and I use it on my Harry Hall leather field boots regularly to keep the waterproof and supple. I also use it on my bridle and driving harness and my tin is around 10 years old now and still going strong. I got my tin from Snaffles in Upchurch and if they don't have it on the shelf I'm sure they'd order it in for you.
