Hello! I've hardly been on here lately. Anyone remember me, I used to actually be _Claire_ but I missed the forum change so got my old name back. Anyone know how I can change it back to _Claire_???

Just to remind you I'm the one who built a livery yard. It's going great, absolutely love it, full with a waiting list :D My mum and sister went up in a hot air balloon the other day and took photo's of the yard from above....

Anyway I'll also be posting in here a lot more now as I am now officially a BD member with my 6yo Welsh D, Victor. I've never competed before never mind doing dressage! lol. I was supposed to be doing my first BD this Thursday but my flipping lorry ramp broke on Saturday, grrrrr.

We worked on shoulder-in and quarters out on a circle, shoulder-in before and after medium trot and give and re-take in the canter, which Victor finds easy peasy. Lateral work though is a different matter :p




Also anyone remember Lacey? She is 11 months old now :)

Hello stranger!! I was wondering where you had got to. Your yard looks fantastic now, im so pleased its going really well for you. And you are going to do dressage - welcome to the dark side!! :D

Im all good, can you believe that Jupi is now 2!!! Bloss is meant to be going back in foal this year, however she didnt take the first time, went again to a different stallion and is due to be scanned on Friday. Unfortunately i'm pretty sure shes just coming in to season so not sure what im going to do with her yet as its getting a bit late to try again as foal is meant to be for sale. Archie was sold last year - not sure if you know that or not, i cant remember! So ive not done much riding until i got Bloss back from her loan home about 6weeks ago now. Love having her back but at a loose end as to what to do with her as i dont have the time or money to compete her again. x

ETA - if you message admin they might be able to change your name back?

OMG can't believe Jup is 2!!!!!! Time really does fly. Oh how exciting about Blossy, fingers very tightly crossed for you, who will daddy hopefully be?

I think I do remember about Archie, are you still in contact with his new owner?

Sire is Gribaldi x Hofnar, so fingers crossed. I am wondering if shes too old to breed from as we are having so many problems this time - shes 17 this year. We will see, she owes me nothing so maybe we'l try one more time and if not leave it.

Jupi is lunging now in a bridle, roller and loose side reins! Hes a very good boy, love him to bits!! Hes 16hh already!!!! Going to show him this season and meant to be taking him to Futurity at Catherston, although its up for sale so not sure what the situation is there.....

I saw Archie the other day actually as i went to collect my Wow saddle back from her. Hes sweet, same as usual, think he still has his naughty moments though. x
 
Oh Gribaldi lines, I like ;) Well she shouldn't be too old, one of mine was 17 the first time she went in foal, so hopefully she'll take for you this time!

I am/was thinking about futurity for all of mine, but we'll see. How exciting! Bet you can't wait to sit on him :D

Yard is looking amazing, again, as I have said before, I so wish you were closer to me, I would have been there the day you opened! Glad it is all going well, you have put so much work into it.

Good luck with your BD career, you mad thing!
