I've lurked for months and months and months and feel like I 'know' everyone here already so it's only fair I crawl out and introduce myself...

The name is from my horse (Molly) and I'm from West Yorks. I have a silly Weimaraner who is 10months old and is approximately the size of a small pony. I'm hopeful he might stop growing UP soon and start growing out. As he's just gone all scrawny and skinny again I fear that's a vain hope. I don't work him - partly because his brain is still connecting to various body parts and mostly because I wouldn't know where to start.

Part of the reason I've come out of the cover of lurkerdom is because....

Cave Canem..... Why do you have a pair of pants in your signature?! It has bugged me for months trying to work out any secretive significance (Or unsecretive, I'm not too quick on the uptake!).

I'll post pictures of him (Herman, incidentally) if anyone wants to see? But before I do....He IS a Weimy, he just has hippy-esque long hair.

Welcome! And please do post pics of your Weimy

my fella really started to scare me between 12-18 months, I never thought he was going to stop growing, oh well, I always wanted a pony......looking at how big his feet and ears were, really concerned me when he was a pup

PMSL My pants are famous! OK, well the story is that one night I found a spider trying to escape from my pants. While I was wearing them.
I stupidly told the folks in Soapbox (complete with description of mad, screaming, half-naked fit that I threw) and I have never been allowed to forget it

the bin came from another long, mad thread - and now it is there for naughty people to be thrown in

Ah, welcome to the nuthouse.....

Looking fairly intelligent. I have just distracted him from the important job of plucking a (stolen *angry* ) plush pheasant.

The more usual pose. You will notice the toy box behind him, full of actual dog toys. You will then notice the empty plastic bottles that he actually plays with. *rollseyes*

Sulking because he didn't want to try on the stupid harness.

Hey, Herman, it's ok. Just ignore the bed I bought. Use the empty box that was actually smaller than it looks. He got out not long after because I tore it down the side so he'd fit in better. Bad move - turns out he wanted to be wedged into a small box and now won't even look at the box anymore. I spoilt it.

CC - that's just REALLY amused me - it's as well it's just me and the dog in the office. I think I want to find the bin thread now!

Thanks for the welcome

Here's Herman!

He works in a pet shop, he spoils himself! Hence the stolen pheasant - since 14weeks old he's been here and he's NEVER theived....today he has stolen a Boomer ball (a 6inch one too, so theoretically too small! Besides which, he's decided it's a rubbish ball and he doesn't want it now) and that pheasant, which is now in thousands of different peices

I actually think he's pretty much perfect at the moment (aside from the growing-again-scrawniness) - he has a waist, when he runs you can see ribs but not when he's sat, but then.... I second guess everything when it comes to this dog, one day I think he's perfect, the next he's too skinny and the day after that, actually, he's too fat.... Should I walk him less? More? On lead? Off lead? Should he come to work with me? Stay at home? Am I encouraging seperation anxiety?

Oooooh he's a handsome lad! I just want to play with his ears - stroking the screen isn't helping (funny that) and the spangle at my feet has twigs in her ears

Am a bad mummy. Looking forward to hearing more about Herman!

Aw he is an awesome looking chap!
My wirehaired pointer x is quite ribby too but eats well and has plenty of energy to be ridiculous so I wouldn't be too concerned at his age, he may well fill out though I doubt he'll grow into those ears - gawgus!

Looking forward to seeing more of Herman definately - oh and thanks for clearing up pant-gate. I too was intrigued! lol
