Wax jacket smelling of, yes, wax. How to stop it?

Hello, bit of a silly one here... OH bought a bargain wax jacket at the RWHS yesterday and now the whole flat smells of wax! Will it wear off by itself or is there something we can do?

As you might have guessed I grew up in a city and this is the first time I've encountered a new waxed jacket up close and personal so to speak!

The smell will lesson as the jacket gets worn - however, not that much.

Mmmmm just love that smell.

Why not pop it in a clothes bag??

It wears off but in the meantime, hang it on the washing line for a couple of days.
