Hello,
Some of you may have seen my previous post about breaking my wrist within the first week of owning my horse after an unexpected fly bucking incident.
We have decided to keep him for now as the yard are being super helpful and putting him on the lunge and taking baby steps with him in the saddle (we wouldnt let anyone on board without getting worried after it happened) and he is settling well.
As my right arm is in plaster any ideas about what i can do to bond with him/establish our relationship? I have had some help and taken him for a walk on the leadrope which he loved and have been down to give him a pat and see him worked etc. I cant really use my right hand at all and can't get it wet.
