Im thinking of ordering one of these for my Horse to wear while he is on box rest, just to keep the flies off him and to keep him cool.
I havent seen one in the flesh and was wondering if they rub at all, are the shoulders satin lined?

Mine isn't satin lined on the shoulders, but then it is about 5 years old...so maybe the new ones are.

I love mine, would be very happy to buy another
 
Fabulous rug, I have a dark horse that gets bothered by flys and gets sun bleached and I love my Kool Coat. I have the combo one and he has it on all day in the summer and it had never rubbed. They are also quite tough when you think they are only cotton as mines been going 2-3 years and theres nothing wrong with it. Mark Todd have brought out a similar one, identical to be honest and got one from Badminton as was on offer and thought it handy to have a spare. The Mark Todd one is normally more expensive so if it hadn't been on offer would have just bought another WB one. The shoulders aren't lined but the rugs are quite generous and flowy so they don't seem to rub anywhere at all.

I have some of the Kool Koat combo rugs in a blue/green sort of check colour and they are really nice and lightweight, fit well and good at keeping flies off them and keeping them cool- mine don't wear their very often but i do seem to think that the shoulders are satin lined- i can check later if you like!
