I asked a while back about this one, but as it was new not many people had one. So Im hoping maybe more have one now and have had some use out of it?

Opinions?? My Rambo Duo is about to go on Ebay, with this rug in mind to buy as a replacement but want to know if worth the money.

I hate my Duo TBH. Ive never used Horseware before so figured Id spend the £230 on a Duo since everyone seemed to rave about them. The only thing I like about it is the idea. Problems I found were:-

- The neck cover is ridiculously small! The rug was used on a lightweight Luso x TB (basically LW TB build) yet was too short in the neck and too tight, especially when he ate grass. It wouldnt even do up round my Welsh Cobs neck! The velcro attachments also ripped several times to the point that I gave up using the neck completely after only a month.
- The rug leaked round the neck and round the bum area (where its pleated in for shape).

These 2 things meant the rug was pretty useless for the winter without a neck (on a clipped horse) and with it leaking in not even the worst of the weather. And I dont think my rug was a dodgy one as 2 other people I know with them have said the same.

I love my WB's having had no problems with them leaking or anything to date and the neck covers are way more substantial.

I was looking at the PE rug for a friend and have to say for the money what you get is far better than the 3 with either Rambo or WB. 3 liners, plus the over rug AND 2 necks for about £180 can't be beaten IMO. PE have an excellent reputation too. If I was in the market for rugs I'd certainly be going for that one.
