During my visit to the GP this morning he took my blood pressure. "Much better than last time" he said.
Last time I was horseless after finding my mare dead in the field one morning; I'd actually given up.
Anyway, five months ago after over a year I took on a Welsh D as I missed horses so so much.
So horses really are good for your health!!!

Absolutely. I can't wait to get outside after work. I can just feel the stress ebbing away in the calm tranquil atmosphere. Doing even the most mundane jobs gives me time to get lost in my thoughts and daydream. I have at least two aerobic exercise sessions a day, mucking out, sweeping, poo picking, squaring up the muck heap and filling hay nets etc. Thats before I climb aboard. I am 'known' at work for my hearty appetite and not putting on weight, I regularly offer my colleagues free entry to my outdoor gym, no takers though!
