I have just started using this for the first time this winter and it seems to be very dry and dusty and very dark green compared to how I remember it from previous winters. I know it's mainly alfalfa so it would be dark green but it just seems much darker than I remember and less stalky, it's almost coarse dust with pellets in. I've been using other WE varieties with no problems but as well as this appearing different my horses isn't keen to eat it which is unusual.

I know a while ago they slightly changed the formula of Medium ( I think it was medium!) so before I buy another bag I'm wondering if this has changed.

I can't tell you if it has changed as i am only using it for the first time. Mine us also quite short and dusty, horse likes it though.

It always used to be quite coarse and stalky much like the other varieties but darker in colour. This is so dusty that I'm having to use a lot of water to dampen it just seems different than I remember it. Glad your horse likes it though, mine usually does!!
