A few days ago I posted a thread worrying about my first workers show with my Welshie. Well, today was the day!
Our first class was the open pony, as the Novice was 40cm which is just too small for Max. The jumps were meant to be 70cm, but a few of them were more than 80cm! We did get eliminated... but Im really not bothered as we have spent months on getting him to canter into jumps calmly and he did!
Our second class was the m&m and he was amazing. Got a few faults for refusing a scary filler but we also got to show off his amazing gallop - and I managed to stop!!! We ended up coming third.
Im just so proud of us. Our hard work is starting to pay off and its given me that kick up the bum to jump higher/harder jumps at home!
