Took my boy out for the first time in his trailer. Im so excited.
Last year he was so scared, shook and tried to fit through the Jockey door that we never left the yard and I sold my HB505.
Just bought a 2nd hand Richardson Grande and I love it. I was convinced the Aluminium floor was an issue in the Ifor and maybe I was right as today he walked on the trailer after a couple of attemps, walked through it, then stood in it, then front ramp up etc etc and was so chilled we decided to boot him up and go for it. Had no intentions of going anywhere, just went to practice.
We travelled with no partition, I cross tied him and we didnt hear him move at all. We did have to rear unload him though as he was a bit eager each time we lowered the front ramp when practicing and I thought I'd get squashed trying to move the front bar out off the way but he came out backwards really calm.
So practice practice practice now, gonna give it a couple of weeks, then book in for a dressage comp somewhere local.

Well done, most horses travel much better without a partition .Ours would never have one, she would throw herself over with but without not a murmur, but that means you can only ever take one
