We got the DNA blood test back

So we did a couple of those at home swab DNA tests and the results came back different each time.
So we paid for Abe to have a blood test at the vets to try and determine his breeds (simply for licensing and being nosy).

We were way off with everything other than Australian shepherd.
And my vet was correct from the start.

*drumroll*

Abe is Australian shepherd x catahoula leopard dog.

Can totally see the Aussie shepherd in him, and have to admit I wasn't convinced when you said other DNA showed GSD. Can I ask, what is a Catahoula Leopard dog, any pics?

Yeah I wasn't convinced about the GSD the only way i could maybe see it is his mannerisms are pretty GSD like but from recent learning the leopard dog has a pretty GSD nature.

Now i know it i can totally see it in him.

He has been attending herding classes and all the people there scoff when i say Australian shepherd.

I can see now that he gets the long neck, box nose and super tucked tummy and possibly even his tail hold from the leopard dog.

And probably his color too.
