At my new yard they have 9 cats
hmm not good when all my terrier does is want to chase them!! Ive taken her up every day since the begining of Dec but have kept her on a lead, ive walked her past the cats and she was lunging and screaming at them to start with!! I dont think she wants to hurt them but just chase them because they run off, the chickens dont bother her as they just dont move so she has no interest in them.
So today i asked her to sit near where the cats wait for tea, and one of the cats wandered over and they sniffed noses!! then she sniffed its bum and then the cat rubbed itself on her, then it sat down infront of her so they sat looking at each other!! She was as good as gold, i gave her lots of praise!! Im so pleased its a step forward in the right direction
