First of December, look out for Pete-the Feet! Boxy little dark ones coming out of egg bars whoop whoop! He's a 15hh bay with two white back socks. So nervous, excited, fearful, expectant...
Yep, farrier struggles to get nails in at appropriate angle, always thought that seemed uncomfortable for him in itself! Very upright in shape. He also has had other issues from we think a fall in the field last year. Hopefully fully recovered from that now. Really excited to find out what Nic thinks of him. Sweet pony, very biddable and a bit thick, not a stubborn bone in his body. Can't wait now
Bensmum, good luck for Friday. Maybe we will bump into each other? We are in Hampshire, similar journey length then about 150 miles. Is your horse a good traveller?
Hope we do meet up, unfortunately she is not a good traveller or loader she has been on box rest for the last 18 months so really not looking forward to it we are allowing 2 hours to load her!!!! Lol when she came across from holland it took 10 professionals 4 hours to get her on but fingers crossed she has grown up a bit by now. Does yours do well travelling?
Ooooh you won't regret it!!
Though talking about travelling - paddy who's normally really good to load, travelled to Rockley really well, but when it came to bringing him home he had other ideas! 2 1/2 hours it took us to get him on the box - well it was mostly Nic & my friend - I was in the corner having a meltdown!!
Once he actually decided he would load, he travelled as though butter wouldn't melt in his mouth - naughty pony!!
