We have all had one like "This"! *vid*

Well, that pony has certainly sorted out just how to get rid of his rider.

Don't you just love how resilient kids are though, 99% of the riders I know would have suffered a nervous breakdown if they got dumped that many times :D

Myself and my daughter just watched this and laughed the whole way through! Especially the 'roll'!

Ed and the little boy are so adorable.

Then we watced 'Ed being good' video and what a wonderful little pony he really is. That video made me want to cry it was so adorable. Well worth a watch!

Am I missing something or after the 25th dump should this pony have had saddle, back, legs checked and then been professionally schooled? Or at the very, very least, be on a leadrein to do the jumps?

Nevermind, just saw they checked saddle/back and did schooling... but still maintain if that kid broke his neck no one would think it was cute... ross wouldn't 'let him go'? Seriously, you let your 6 year old make decisions of what horse you're going to pay for for the next 30 years or so? My kid is doing pretty well if he can choose a T-shirt to wear for the day!

I agree on that point that I certainly wouldnt have let my child ride him....no way would I have taken the risk! However Ed on a good day looks to be an absolute Saint!

Oh lighten up, its a bit of fun. Have you seen the vid of when he was good?
He's obviously not like that all the time, and the kid does't seem scared at all.
It will do him good for him to be riding a pony like this, how many of the top riders say they had a bucking or bolting ponies. To many kids are wrapped up in cotton wool now a days.

Nope, haven't seen him being good yet, but still maintain I wouldn't put my child on a horse that I knew was liable to behave this way. Its not about looking scared, kids who aren't scared of anything still break their necks :) My son, being autistic, would jump off a bridge if I let him with no fear... courage doesn't keep you alive :)

To each their own but I don't think a child that age should be spending their free time being bashed about the school, and if its a training session where are the adults for the first 10 minutes? Riding, yes, learning, sure, schooling, absolutely... but putting him on a horse they KNOW can behave that way without an adult in the ring and no lead rein? Why??? All it does is enforce the horses' bad behaviour because it doesn't have to listen and knock the kids confidence :)

Ditto this. I love my kids and would hate to see them come to injury because I let them ride a pony who I knew without doubt would dump them umpteen times.

I'm glad the little boy now has a more suitable mount :).
