Not been on here for a while but some of you may remember me saying about moving off my livery yard as it had become very bitchy and basically a nightmare!!

Well we moved on Friday and it couldnt have gone any better. There was me worrying about my horse, if he was going to load, if he was going to settle etc.

Well to start with I was going to hack him to his new home 2 miles away but the Monday before moving he became lame (typical he is never lame), I kept an eye on him the rest of the week an he was getting better just think he had banged his leg or got up stupidly. Well end of the week came and so did move day. I decided to get a friend with a trailer to take him and ben his field friend to their new home - he walked straight in what a star!! I am so pleased that he loaded without a problem.

Short drive in the trailer and we arrived in our new home, both boys were wll behaved walked passed the yard and into their new field with grass I might add (last livery yard our field was bare!!) head down and ate!! They seem so happy already and they have only been there 48 hrs!!

I am looking forward to the future :)

Pic of the boys at the gate in the new field. Jack is the gray he's mine the other is Ben he's my friends

Both boys look wonderful and very content , finding a place where your horses are content is like a breath of fresh air - no more stress for you and good vibes for them! Have you gone to another yard or are you renting land ( I only ask as you say there's grass and you don't get much of that in some yards oh and I'm nosey!?

:D I'm pleased at all passed off so well.

I know just where you're coming from. I moved my boy to a new yard almost two weeks ago, and I spent weeks worrying about it. He had a 9 hour journey by road, but he stepped off the lorry at the new yard like he does it every day! He settled beautifully, and now we're busy preparing for the new driving season. I couldn't be more pleased with how things have turned out! :D

Thanks everyone.

Oh and Paddy Irish we have moved to a place I use to go when I was younger. I used to ride this ladies horses about 10 years ago. She now only has her old mare there who is 30 this may. There are 3 stables and 6 acres in total. All for £50 p.c.m!! No menage but hey cant have it all.
