It can take them a long time to settle in, I reckon looking back it took Henry about 6 months to be really settled (although hopefully as a younger dog she will adapt quicker), but sounds like she is making great progress

Haha, I thought I had such a quiet well behaved puppy when Otto arrived, granted he was terrified the first day but he seemed to settle quickly and started playing with toys etc.
He would go outside off the lead and just mooch about, never took any notice of the ducks/chickens/goats/pigs/geese, in fact rarely left my side... it took about a month before he became the thug we all know and love, legging it at every oppurtunity and being obsessed with the birds on the farm!

Sounds like she is beginning to settle in, it's all downhill from here!

We're an IKEA household too.

She weed and pooed on the stable yard again at 5.00 in front of OH, progress is being made! Now if only she'd go on her late-night wee break... I've never prayed before, I'm considering taking it up.
