WATER!!!!!! GLORIOUS WATER!!!!!!!!! sorry to be so smug, but it's lovely - living on the boring, rainy south coast does have it's advantages!!! It's beginning to thaw here now!

You lucky, lucky thing. Here in freezing cold Bristol, both of of my horses buckets were full of slush at 5.00 pm last night - after being mucked out by YO at 4.00 pm and fresh water put in.

i wouldn't say that to fast we are due for another 8cm, so please don't jinx us!!!!!
just having water again without have to defrost the taps etc is a bonus

can't see that happening - the met office forecast cloud for the next week, no snow in sight!!

it was snowing at the yard this morning, thats really odd that you haven't had any because you are literally at the other end of the road from me

Snap. The water is freezing so quickly. At least Bristol managed the exotic temperatures of +1 today!!

Oh how I wish we had water....apparently a pipe had burst close to the yard which has meant the supply has been cut off so we are all having to bring water with us, currently taking water in coke bottles...not much but better than nothing I guess.....

that wasn't snow!!!!! it was liitle specks of dizzley stuff, not fat white chunks!!

It has started to thaw here this evening, noticed when I went to do horse tonight, its great, still alot of ice on some roads and the lane to the yard is still an ice rink which I cannot get up still
But at least its thawing
