He's a 2yr old Boxer, very bouncy and loving but needs a bit more training!!!

He's lovely and has settled in soo well and our 4yr old Staffie cross (who is half the size of him!) is most definatly boss...he walkd past HER tennis ball and she snapped (not nastily just letting him know it's hers!)

she is not used to sharing but will definatly get used to it. It will make life so much easier when we want to go out, plus boxers are my mums favourite dogs

!! And as we are moving to 5 hectares he will have loads of land to run about and loose some of the energy he has...and the walks around our new house are supposed to be fab!!

It went really quickly really! We weren't going to get another dog until after christmas but saw an advert for 2 male boxers being given away, replied to it yesterday morning, went to see them last night and came home with one of them!! He met the cats last night and didn't chase them...although his old owners said he would!! And they also said if the garden wasn't secure then he would run....our courtyard leads onto the field and although one gate can be closed the other is only electric fencing. WE were'nt sure about letting him off in the courtyard but did and he hasn't run off yet

He met our chickens this morning, went to chase them, but Saffy (the staffie!) told him off for doing that and he hasn't chased them since!!

Havn't got any photos loaded up yet, but will do....but he looks like your typical tan boxer

He sounds lovely. Why were they giving him away?

I imagine the clue was in the first sentence........! lol

(You know what boxers are like, bless 'em - probably just a case of 'too much dog' for the owners! Bet he's lovely though!)

lol!!

They allready have 2 children and are expecting twins and didn't have the time to spend with him, and his brother, and didn't want the twins getting hurt...So wanted to find both of them a new home, but we suggested that they keep one and see how it goes and then if they can't cope with the other one, find him a new home!

And yes he is a big dog, and the lady was quite small!! We are getting a halti as soon as poss, we tried to put Saffy's on but it was too small for him
