Just wanted to share. Hubby and I have said that we would get a pup when the time was right. We now have a dog friendly garden, most importantly loads of time, (hubby works from home most of the time, i'm part time.) Just enjoying the unconditional love you get from an animal. And big bonus after doing the horses, poop picking is easy, as he is a chihuahua. Kevin we love you, welcome to the family.:)
 
A Chihuahua called Kevin ! OMG, he sounds like a little guy with a big personality. He sounds lovely.

I was tempted when I saw 2 Jack Russells on the RSPCA website called Hedgehog and Badger, So cute but OH says we have to wait until we've moved to our new house. Rubbish man :)
 
He is so tiny at the moment, i've developed a strange shuffle where my feet barely leave the floor, as I move around the house, so I don't squash him, as he follows me everywhere. He is adorable, but I'm determined he is going to be an obedient well behaved dog. Lets watch this space and find out who really is the boss ha ha.
 
Treat him like you would any other pup and you will be fine, just remember what might seem funny now may well turn into a most annoying bad habit/ behaviour when older!
Oh and don't let the wee munchkin follow you absolutely everywhere, that way can lie trouble.

Just enjoy the wee darling they grow up soooo fast.

I do agree and we are all trying. I say to myself "would you let him do that if he was a GSD?" and then act appropriately. (I hope:) )

Thank you. Will look into this later. Busy playing with Kevin at the moment, I mean cleaning the bathroom :)
