I'm glad you have found somewhere nice to go as I have to say your post wouldn't make me warm to you as a potential client.

[/ QUOTE ]

MH I think before saying above you should have read PO original post.

I did read it at the time, some simple confusion over clearing out a barn that got out of hand.

If you have to deal with threatening, abusive or unreasonable people you should be able to do so without resorting to shouting or swearing, or being impressed that your parents may do so on your behalf.

[/ QUOTE ]

My normally meek and quiet mother stuck up for her own flesh and blood when being threatened and this is a negative to you??

Im proud of my mum!! I suggest you dont respond on this thread again, you've upset me and i only posted this due to the demand for an update. Obv you are not completely aware of how this has made me feel and perhaps you are best suited to replying on other threads where your imput would be more appreciated.

I am glad you are all moved safe and sound....Good on you & mum for standing up to this bully if more people did that I'm sure his attitude would soon change.

Foalie is gorgeous

Im glad youve found somewhere nice, there is nothing worse than staying somewhere where you dont enjoy, or your frightened to leave your horses for fear of what other people will do. Although it does sound like it got nasty in the end im sure id have reacted exactly the same as you

Sadly when you post on the www you don't get to control the responses.

my mum tells him hes a prat and storms off to see his mum
I shouted at the transport guy
I went mental
My mum went mental, called him a few names

on reflection you are quite right, I am sure you both dealt with this in exactly the right way, and news of your spectacular exit will not follow you around the local equestrian scene to cause you problems in the future.

I had written a long reply but in retrospect im not going to bother justifying it to you-perhaps i should of worded it differently, apart from the fact you do not know anything about my 'local equestrian scene' to comment.
The farm grew crops, horses were just an added income-

I give up now, im not going to bother updating again- sorry for the people who were interested this extra hassle definatley was not worth it.

Glad you have found somewhere quickly and hope it goes well for you. I am not going to judge you for how you reacted because I wasnt there and dont know the whole situation/history.

So glad you are away from that place and the big a-hole!!!

Your baby is so cute!!!!!!

Hope you are all happy in your new home. If I had a yard, you would be welcome!!!!!!

Sorry but i think most of the people on this thread are glad they don't share a yard with YOU MH, talk about pernickity!!!

fwiw I would happily share a yard with Mother Hen. I don't like to swear at people and tbh I think treating idiots with yelling and swearing is simply adding accellerant to an already raging fire.

But each to their own and people react differently when under threat, which is understandable. EF you are better off out and good luck in your new place!

BlackDiamond, I'm sure you are right - it would be far too quiet for most people.

Not to mention i would be scared of you lol

Equestrianfairy you are welcome on my yard any day. I enjoy your updates. Ignore MotherHen. I would like to see what she would do if someone threatened her horse, oh but obviously by the sounds of it she would never get in that situaton.
Why reply to the thread it was an update a lot of people wanted. Of course equestrianfairy is upset by your comments motherhen she feels you have insaulted her mother. She has also moved her horses today which i personally find very stressful and she had a 4 day foal to worry about to, thats after worrying about this farmer.

So glad you got yourself and lovely horses out of that place
wink.gif
If someone spoke to one of my girls like that believe me i would of reacted exactly the same as your mum
laugh.gif
I can't stand bullies...love you foal....Take care and enjoy your new yard
laugh.gif

as said before foal is lovely.
dont worry there is a lot of people would of acted in the same way had this happend to them! i know i would of.
if your mum cant stand up and defend you then who can???
this is nothing in the equestrian world compaired to some stories so it wouldnt hinder you in any way, shape or form!! dont let a few spoil it for the rest of us!! i havnt commented untill now but have followed your posts, please, please carry on and post some more pic's of that scrummy foal. keep ya chin up x

i'm pleased you have moved - it sounded dreadful where you were at, and to be honest if anybody threatened my daughter they would have WW3 on their hands
mad.gif
grin.gif

If I can just stick my oar in....EF was going to have my pony on loan and I wouldn't have considered him going to anyone I didn't trust or like 110%. I think it sounds like she was totally provoked as she's really lovely
grin.gif

*whispers* Can I have my £20 now?!

Oh motherhen what has got into you today? This isn't like you.
frown.gif
So she and her mother gave what they got - so you would have kept your cool - different people, different ways of dealing with the situation - personally I would have struggled to keep my cool just like EF.
frown.gif

I must agree had anyone threatened my horses i'd have gone absolutely balistic, my horses are like my children.
MH there is no need for that sort of response at all, unless you where there then you have no right to judge how she reacted or how her mother reacted. Its all very well sitting behind a computer screen saying well you should have reacted like this but when your actualy there it is avery different situation.

I'm pleased for you that it has all worked out and for the better by the sounds of it. Your foal is very nice and mum looks well to.

This directly contradicts your sig.

Which one do you really live by?

To OP - glad your move went well and you got your horses/gear out with them all intact.

I know how hard it can be for quiet people to stand their corner, and this bloke seems to have been taking the you know what for some time as people run scared of him.

Can I be greedy and have your foal and your gorgeous little terrier?
