Your fluffy cheer up thread has depressed me though. My mare spent all summer at a coloured horse stud, and came home not in foal! I should be having one of those next year!!! Nevermind, I thought, I will go back to eventing her next year, then hear I will need an op in Spring, so won't be riding next summer either!

Dont worry Honey08, that will be you in 2012! I was told my mare would never conceive as she only had one tumeric ovary, so for two years just enjoyed her as she was. The stud owners of a very nice coloured trakahner stallion persuaded me to bring her along for another scan, and lo and behold after 2 lots of AI and a bit of regumate and two normal overies, little fluffy came along.
