Well... hi... I guess
So a bit of history of us being he was bought by my friend from the side of a road in the bradford area aged about 11 months as a unhandled colt. I liked him from the start- he was very shy as one would expect but after a few weeks he came around and it became clear that he was a naturally lovely mannered little fellow. I handled and trained him from about 14 months and we really hit it off. There was a lot of love there very quickly and I spent all my 'yard time' working with him and playing with him. When he hit 18 months my friend decided that she was moving to Spain and offered all of her horses to their sharers as, in their simplest terms, leaving presents. Much to my surprise my parents threw caution to the wind and let their silly teenager have her way and I ended up with Cracker! (wooooooooooop!) Fast forward two years and lets skip over a few crazy liveries and iffy yards and here we are! My lovely, quiet and perfectly mannered 3 year old (I'm not biased. Nope. Not at all). His only fault being his locking stifle- its a royal pain in the backside but we deal with it. I love my boy to bits and I wouldn't want him any other way ;-)
So this is Cracker and I and my favourite collection of photos of him across our grand two and a bit years

He's lovely, and what a great way to have been able to own him.
What a lovely thing of your friend to do, and great your parents agreed I guess!
One of ours has a locking stifle, and it's reallynot a problem as long as she is worked and kept fit, so hopefully cracker will be the same.

It's nice to have it kind of happen gradually, I was able to get to know him before owning him which a lot of people don't get.
I'm a lucky gal'
It's becoming less of a problem- if it locks he trusts me to lead him on and get it moving and we have got it with a fair bit of work to locking at most once a month from it being up to three times a week in just a few months. He has really come a long way with it x
