For the Horseware Ireland National Hunter Trial championship :D

Only the 70cm class, but still, it's our first qualification for something! This was our 2nd hunter trial.

So we're off to the finals at Elland Lodge in a fortnight. With my best mate and her cob who I go out and about with to competitions and training everytime anyway :D She qualified at the first hunter trial earlier this year, so I'm so glad we managed to pull it off and qualify so we could go with her for a stay away together!

Very very very happy and pleased! He tried his heart out bless him, he definately had his 'game face' on.

It has been a brilliant summer. We've done a handfull of shows and come away very pleased the last few times! Lovely note to end the summer on.

Then it's time for hunting with any luck ;)

Thankyou. We came 2nd in the pairs and 3rd in our individual class - there was a joint first in that so there was no 2nd placing? Top 3 qualify so we just managed it :D

Galloping isn't our forte yet, he doesn't really 'get it' bless him. He's done that much manners work staying behind whilst others go off out hacking, he doesn't really have a 'lets gallop' button yet lol, we just do a fast canter.
Optimum time was 5m30s something. Our time was 6m03 this time. However, our time from first hunter trial was 8minutes something....so a big improvement from then! :)

Congratulations:) The final is going to be ace! It is such a lovely venue! Will look out for you :) I'm competing on the Sat and then fence judging on the Sun.

Well done! We qualified for Eland Lodge yesterday too (again the 70cm class). But as we are 4 hours away I won't be going.
We only went for an outing and a bit of fun, couldn't believe we came first.
