Thats fantastic. So pleased for you and the dog. Will you miss her? Three years is a long time. Although its fantastic to find good homes.
Well done you.

My mam welled up when she left and she called in on Sunday to see how she was settling (she was fretting for her)
smirk.gif
It was very strange as I had her here for a months and she became one of my pack.....I don't think I miss them as much as I worry about them settling and their safety whilst settling in.
She came in as a baby and she was very shy and came from a horrible situation, but now is getting what she deserves from life, we just kept her safe and well before she found her forever home.

Whooooo I hope so! Me and Beastie and my other labs will be most disappointed otherwise

The couple are lovely and live out in the country side, near my nana who we visit every other weekend, so we can call in from time to time to see her, and one of our other little rescues was rehomed just around the corner from here

Lol, just like my Windsor used to do
grin.gif

Do you have many new dogs in?

And I really can't believe it took so long to rehome Jasmine, everytime I look at er pic, I think what a lovely girl! She reminds me of a dog I had as a child.

It is hard to believe she stayed so long.....I think we have so many dogs at a time, there is so much choice esp with al the pedigrees we get.......we have had a new new arrivals but all rehomed as soon as they landed

A great Dane, 2 cavi's and a Japanese chin ....will get some piccies sorted.

Awww, she's lovely. She must have known the right people were out there for her, thats why she stayed so long, waiting for them. I hope she has found her forever home now

And well done with all the other re-homes. I'd love your job, even with all the sad times - I bet seeing a rescue settled into a great new home is the best feeling ever

It's happiness, sadness, anger and frustation all roled into one....but I would never stop helping.

that puppy lurcher is indeed stunning.....cute, cute cute, do u know if they rehome all over the country....we often have enquiries from people living to far away from us.....I could always recommend many tears.

Jasmine is lovely. How could she have been overlooked for so long?

I bet it feels like losing one of your own when you've had them for so long.

I wish her the very best in her new home, one I pray she has for life.
grin.gif

Thanx everyone.....her new owners phoned to say, she is settling in great, no mishaps yet.....early days...but my fingers are tightly crossed that they give her a fair chance and that she remains a good girl xx

Beautiful dog, so glad she has gone to a good home. Whereabouts are you Cala? When I was looking for a dog a few years ago, the rescue centres around London had a waiting list for young smallish dogs. Wish I'd known about you then!

They will rehome anywhere where they can get a home check done so if local rescues would homecheck on their behalf (which I do for rescues all over the place for this area) And the prospective owners have to be prepared to travel to Wales with all family members and other dogs to meet the new dog.

I got 2 of mine from there but skipped the travelling to Wales bit as I was only supposed to be fostering them so they were delivered to me. No good at fostering....too much of a sucker for sad brown eyes!
