We sent a chestnut foal to stud.......

Well 6 weeks ago we sent this little girl off to stud with her mummy

and went to collect them today and look what came back....

(and a mum in foal to Mill Law)

i found foal pics of my FO 4 yr old yesterday, i'd forgotten she was bright bay as a foal, now she's very dark bay. most odd.

I think she'll stay roan. Greys don't have chesnut manes as a rule, and that's a definite chesnut colour.
You lucky thing, she's going to be a stunner.

Trust me they do have chestnut manes we have a post going that shows you that, and he still has a ginger tinge

I'd like a roan!! But her legs are quite dark i think grey?

Millie her half sister was bright bay, then dark bay, then blue and then grey, now she looks like a rocking horse with big dapples!
