We want your positive 'free' horse stories

Dear H&H forum users,

We are currently putting together a magazine feature on 'free' horses that have come good. Have you ever been given a horse for free, or indeed for a notational pound, which has gone on to be a real success story? Perhaps one that now competes at an affiliated level? Maybe one that has turned into the perfect gent out hunting? Or one who is a perfect pony club pony?

Thank you very much for all your responses to our appeal for people with ‘free’ horses. As always you were generous with your time and your stories and we now have all the case studies we will need for the feature.

As ever your help is much appreciated and valued by all members of the H&H team and we hope you will continue to support us in the future.
