Dressage today in the pouring rain. They had two arenas set up next to each other so that was something new for Gyp to look at. Arrived tacked up, trotted round the warm up and was ploughed into the wall by some numpty on a grey
Then went off the arenas, had a big of a look at the boards and letters, specially when we kicked some rubber at them and they made a noise.
The judge was the same as the time before and she said to work on my accuracy and getting in to the corners, so we have been practising that all week.
So did our test, going in the corners, my plan was to try to run over the letters so that way I know I am dead on. Our free walk wasn't very good, I was leaning forward and he doesn't stay down for the whole length. But other than that it was good. The judge said it was a very accurate test and we ended up 5th out of about 16 and qualified for the championship in March. Not bad for his second time ever being ridden in a comp.
