Ok so maybe washing in the rain was worth it.
We thought my 3 classes would clash, Hattie was ridden coloured class 2, Gyp was in hand cob 3 and coloured 4 so we thought Hattie's and Gyp's first class would clash, so my non horsey dad was going to show him for me. Gyp was being a a*se outside the rings so I jumped off Hattie just as we were being called in. Took Gyp for a walk, made him behave (he is such a mummies boy) and then jumped back on Hattie and went in the ring.
We had one little error of cantering on the wrong leg but I quickly changed her and we finished 2nd! The judge said she has really flowing paces.
Then dived off her to grab Gyp as his first class was going in to be told the judge was having a 30 min break so went back to the trailer, loaded Hattie and then came back again to find my class had started! Judge let us in though as they had only just started. Gyp was very good but a little strong and would not stand still. The judge had a really good look at him, looking at his feet, under his mane etc. And then pulled us in 2nd. Was very very pleased with him.
We came out and went straight in again as was in the next class, in hand coloured. I was very lame by then as my boots were eating my legs. We had a little stallion in the class which was squealing like a pig and rearing up. Gyp tried to join in but got a smack so stopped. He still wouldn't stand still but was much calmer considering the stallion was next to us and Gyp was gelded late. He trotted up really well and the judge loved his long mane and equal markings so pulled us in 1st. I was over the moon, I have never won anything before so was really really pleased. He was such a good boy!
Only have a couple of pics though as mother couldn't work the camera.

Thank you.

I don't think I will be catching you up anytime soon though.

Thank you everyone. I am still beaming. I can't believe my little man won something.
I'm glad I put up with washing them in the rain now.
