Right been to yard - only turned out 3 horses, sorted the box rest babe out and just got home to put all my wringing wet clothes straight into the washer. Was hoping that my electric seats would not electrocute me on the way home.... it looks like this rain is in for the day - so i am going to have a hot shower (had the cold one this morn ha ha ha) before getting dressed and going back to yard. (mine are wusses and even though they are in neck covered rugs they will be stood staring at the gate feeling as sorry for themselves as i do when i think of poor Ginger from black beauty)

It just horrible isn’t it!!! I was meant to be Show Jumping today but no chance in this. My lovely sister _Gina_ has put the horses out, so I’m sitting her while my OH makes a fried breakfast, yum!

WE were planning on attending a fun ride in Cirencester Park today, but one look at the weather forecast last night and we decided against it.

Turns out to be a wise choice, as it has been raining and blowing a whoolie all night, and it's not finished yet.

I went out hacking in it! I was hoping it would ease off but it just got heavier so horsey and I ended up soaked

Decided not to put him out when we got home as he was so wet and I don't think he'd have enjoyed it. So he is now nicely snuggled in his fleece rug eating hay, was thinking of going back at lunch to put him out but it is still pouring here so might just give him a day in!

On my 3rd set of clothes now!!!! did the usual stable duties and left horses in - then it seemed to ease up so went back up the stables to open doors and let the guys out- 7yo said 'no thank you and please can you fill my hay up again'! old yeti stated 'not a chance in hell - more hay please' and mare and foal shot out of the stable had arace around the paddock - dashed back in and said' thankyou more hay please!'
SO they are all in happily munching hay - more mucking out later - big sigh - but heyho at least they are all happy!!!! and dry.
