Weather - worst for 100 years

Has anyone else noticed that the Express always quote the same weather forecaster, and it's never anyone from the Met Office? I swear Mr Jonathan Powell from Vantage Weather must either pay the Express a fortune to get his name and company mentioned, or he's just a made-up alter-ego of whoever writes those articles.

They Have already had unseasonably early snows in South Dakota that have Killed 10s of Thousands of Cattle 12 hours of torrential rain turned to Blizzard conditions dumping 4 foot of snow 60 MPH winds and the cattle hadnt yet grown full winter coats, so their is every chance we might cop for some of the same.

They also talk about the sudden cold snap we are experiencing now err no it's actually October , it's the temperatures before that were unseasonably warm!

Bring it on, yard is now only 15 min from home, I can walk to it and got an indoor school so can still ride!

I used to work with Jonathan Powell, he was a bit of a joker and wind up merchant, I actually wouldn't believe a word of it !

Probably the same scaremongering they do every year,but personally I would rather have a cold winter than a wet one.

My thoughts exactly - would much rather have cold and snow than rain and mud any dya

So, when there is snow you'll all be prepared won't you? ... and when it is only the same as in recent years you'll be laughing because it isn't as bad as you expected.

I did, and I will never regret it, I don't miss the rain, the mud, or that awful slushy muck that passes as snow
