What shape horse do they fit?

As they don't have shoulder darts/gussets do they fit narrower chested horses or is the material shaped for the shoulders?

They seem suited to narrower chests IMO. My TB mare has a weatherbeeta cooler which is a snug fit across her chest, while her Rambo Duo TO is a wee bit loose. I know comparing a cooler to a TO may seem a bit off but this one is designed like a TO with a neck, front buckles and surgincles. Hope that helped!
