How do the rug s compare size wise? Do weatherbeeta come up bigger? If my lad is in 6,6 horse wear, would i do better to order 6,3 in the other make or are they not so much different? Not used any thing different in years x
 
Not sure but my mares other rugs are 6"6 and I just bought a 6"6 weatherbeeta rug and it fits perfect! Lovely rugs :D
 
if your horse has a big neck/ shoulders horsewear Rambos are likely to be as much use as a chocolate fireguard like there customer service! Weatherbeeta are a much better fit with the big chested horse.
 
My Big lad is in weatherbeeta - they are virtually the only brand that has a deep enough neck opening so that the rug doesn't pull on the whither wen he puts his head down to eat. He does have a Rhino V fastening rug that he hasn't worn yet that appears to fit him well though. Same rug size in both brands...
 
Thanks that helps. I stick with hw rug s on my old box as he is narrow and i know they fit. My young box also had them but now he is growing out and the chest didn't fit but having only used hw rug s for the past ten years find i just don't know how others come up x

I would say WBs are a good bet then... you might want to try both the landa freestyle and the Original (I use the originals) as the come up differently round the chest ;)
