Fantasic bit of kit. I have used it on both my horses with pleasing results. I liked the fact that I wasn't involved if that makes sense

It was nice not to have to ask for an outline, she was holding herself so to speak as soon as I did some transitions

Would you use it for hacking as will or purely schooling?

Can be useful in a few but is the sme as draw reins, only really shold be used by riders with very good hands and only as a very short temporary measure.

At least with draw reins you can drop them and the action from them stops, can't do that with a harbridge.

Basly used you end up with horses broken at the third with the arses in the next county and it's a sod to fix once this has been done.

I don't understand - how can a harbridge which has no contact with the riders hands, be the same as draw reins which are controlled entirely by the rider?

I used one and had excellent results. Star learned that she didn't need to throw her head in the air during transitions. She could relieve any pressure herself by carrying herself correctly. Because of this she worked through from behind and we only needed the Harbridge for 1 session. Also great fo encouraging a long, low outling whilst lungeing. (Can't you tell that Star did great Giraffe impressions once upon a time?

Much better than draw reins.

Also - I wouldn't hack out in it - only school.
